Celebrate Success!!
Celebration is an intrinsic part of every successful team. It keeps people motivated to stay involved in the team. It raises awareness of what you do with the company, and more importantly it shows we also believe and practice what we deliver to staff rooms and businesses. It also gives you a platform to build on for your future work as well as to help your group feel more together as a team of friends and sometimes it’s just nice to have a celebration for its own sake.
Last week saw us racing at Xtreme Karting in Falkirk where we speeded our way round the track in an attempt to get the winning trophey, which Gavin grabbed with both hands and took the winning post.

Everyone's a winner at team TOK!
Make A Difference…
A charity very close to our hearts is Pancreatic Cancer Scotland and this month saw us donate £150. Pancreatic Cancer Scotland is a newly formed Charity. Their main objective it: To promote awareness of pancreatic cancer in Scotland. Do your bit in the work place to help make a difference and select a charity to donate to whether you are doing a sponsored run, walk or even like the girls in our office a sponsored slim, every penny raised really helps! So start working as a team and help those that really need it.
To make a donation to Pancreatic Cancer Scotland or for more information check out their website the work they do is invaluable! http://www.pancreaticcancerscotland.org/
TOK Team Developments
It is with great pleasure that we can tell you of the fantastic developments happening in the TOK team. Eddie Leahy who has been with the company for two years has primarily been working in secondary school delivering workshops to staff and pupils. This month sees Eddie moving forward with in the role of ‘Corporate Speaker’, we are exceedingly proud of Eddy and caught up with him. This is what he said about his next chapter at TOK;
“I’m really excited about this new opportunity that I have been given. It’s a step out of my comfort zone from speaking in schools but the challenge keeps my work interesting and fresh…Bring it on!” Eddy
Another team member who is spreading their knowledge and expertise with in the company is Sarah Lou who has the fantastic job of taking over the Newcastle area as of May. Sarah Lou has also been with the company for two years and is ready for this move into the North East, here is Sarah Lou’s thoughts;
“I’m absolutely delighted to be given the opportunity to look after our current schools in the North East! I’m so passionate about the work we do for our pupils and staff so can’t wait to spread the word even further and really help TOK to grow and flourish south of the border” Sarah Lou
Finally we have another addition to the TOK family and that comes in the form of a bundle of joy called Linsay Duncan! Linsay will be working in Manchester developing TOK work in schools as well as the corporate work in and around the UK. Linsay has been with us only a matter of weeks but has most certainly made a big impression on the team and clients. We are very much looking forward to the future with Linsay.
With a new member settled into the team its time to find a new one…yes you read it right we are recruiting! If you think you you would be perfect for the role as ‘Business Development Executive’ get in touch and tell us why. You could be working with the most inspiring team in the world!
Finally some words from our participants
“Everyday I wake up with an average face and an average attitude, not tomorrow…”
“Thanks for the confidence boost, today has been an eye opener”
“I now have no limits”
“I realised that I can control my life”
