Overview

As a follow-up to ‘Putting the Fun Back in the Staffroom’, Who said “Don’t smile till Christmas?” is an extremely motivating, thought provoking, challenging but humorous experience for delegates. It is designed to provide a further insight into the big issues of fun and humour in learning and the effect it can have on motivation, mindsets and morale. How do these factors affect current and future events for both teacher and pupil? How can you make your classroom more fun? Delegates are inspired to consider what is really important to them and to take fun, positive action.
.
This interactive workshop aims to

• Encourage staff to break habits, rock the boat and stay fresh
• Explain both the positive and negative links between humour and learning
• Encourage staff to build stronger relationships and cope with challenge
• Challenge staff to be more positive in language and mindset
