Overview
The successful implementation of the ‘Peapodo is for Early Years’ System can depend very much on the motivation of the teacher or pupils leading this resource. This workshop aims to motivate users of the Peapodo by allowing them to experience the outcomes of Peapodo first hand. This workshop is not only great fun but gives delegates the opportunity to explore some of the thinking and research behind this unique early years resource. You'll be ready to play.

The Peapodo aims to

• Develop early skills, aptitudes and attitudes through innovation and enjoyment.
• Raise self-confidence and self-belief in our young people and encourage them to take responsible risks, think 'out of the box', crave success and tackle challenges 'head on'.

• Provide children with the opportunity to play and learn about themselves, each other and the community.
• Provide a more varied school experience, focused on the needs and interests of each young person.

• Encourage children to visit and revisit learning in order to help establish patterns of emotional significance, ensuring that learning experiences are memorable.
• Ultimately, to create a successful, prosperous and enterprising Scottish economy through developing a wide rage of much needed new skills and attitudes in an interactive and exciting way.
